normal bta's

I've got 2 bta's (one rose and one red metallic) which have split, one (rose) by itself and one (metallic) cut. They've healed for a over 3 weeks to a month now and seem to be fine. My question is, if they don't display pronounced bubble tips and the tentacles are just normal, is something wrong? The rose gets very big during the day about 4-5" in diameter and the metallic is an average 2+ inches. Do they need to mature after splitting?

Many many people have tried to figure out why some keep their "bubbles" and why others don't.

In the end, no one knows. There are a lot of theories, but none seem to be work even 50% of the time.

i guess pictures like this are rare then? or is it just by chance?
