Looking for some reefer in the area or a club less than a 2 1/2 drive. I'm open to starting on in the area if anyone is interested, I could do all the leg work to get it going retired and have way to much time on my hands
 
I'd be interested in that as well. I don't know of any societies/clubs in the area and I think that one would do well if it existed.
 
Glad there is at least one other person in the area. Yea with 4 places in morgantown selling sw stuff there has to be a few others buying beside me and you. Well maybe starting one is the way to go then. PMAS in pittsburg is the closest active thing ive found to here. Lets see if we can get a few others the chime in here and go from there. Glad to here from you if you need anything let me know always willing to lend a hand
 
There is a club over by charleston ,Chemical valley reef club, thats active. if can get this rolling you'd be welcome but the drive up here through the Summersville speed trap sucks. Im a proud owner of a few of their 51mph speeding tickets
 
haha! no kiddin! I am not sure if the valley is still active, i tried to check on it a while back and couldnt find anything.

And not only summersville but fayetteville too... really all of 19!
 
I checked in to a domain name to start a web site with and picked up a copy of web studio 5.0 to build it with. Guess making some flyers to put in some lfs might be a good place to start out. What do you think of mountain state marine and reef society for a name or any suggestion
 
Nice :) and Yes I like that name, it's pretty fitting. What web service did you look at? Flyers are definately a start, let me know if there is anything I can do. I am in the middle of Morgantown so I can get places pretty quickly at least for the next few days, traffic becomes hell when all 30,000 students move back in for the fall semester LOL.
 
Got a generic site up trying to get forums added to it atm. Finding the are some holes in my web skills. Soon as I get something solid going ill get it added to the masna site. I sent a few emails to rc to get it added here to the club forums but have heard back yet
 
Wamas.org is a decent sized club, there are a few people from WV in it too, but its probly going to top you 2.5 hour drive, but if there is nothing else closer it may be worth joining.

Chemical valley isnt active anymore it all kind of dwindled out i use to be a member there. Alot of goodnguys was in it. Im in beckley as well well daniels so like 5mins away from beckley. Id be interested in a group. How big of tanks do the wv guys have?
 
maybe we need to start a small group down here around Beckley then once everything gets going we could all carpool up to the bigger on in morgantown.
 
Does anyone have a 75 or 90g setup they want to get rid of? I've got a 65g with sump and return pump an reefbreeders led for trade. Can be reef ready or not
 
Any of the places down in Morgantown good? Not sure what's down there but not to far from me.
