The base of it is hard...not sure if that matters at all...I put is in a hole in the rock so it wouldn't blow around. just not for sure what it is so I cant look it up and get some info...it just said bta on the tag...and i dont trust what the lfs says...they are stupid

Moderate for both lighting and flow. They're not overly picky. Just try for indirect flow, preferably turbulent. I've never fed mine, but some do.

it being a coral dose it take the cal. out of the water instead of actual food..?

Cal and alk are used to build the skeleton. Not exactly food, they will eat meaty foods, otherwise light and fish poop.

Moderate Flow/Moderate Lighting. They are pretty hardy so just place it where the flow is a little calmer.
