ya you wont find southdown unless someones got a whole stash of it haha. They stopped making it. If you're asking for any other cheap sands that you can find at like a hardware store...i cant help you there. If you're just asking sand in general, i like the meridian oolitic sand...got mine off drsfostersmith.com for like 18 bucks for 20 pounds. Its the really fine stuff. You'd probably need a whole lot more than i did, mainly because you're using it in a much bigger tank, and the stuff is really fine so it packs together tighter.
