Not really new but been out of the hobby for a while

I'm Michael from Jonesboro Arkansas. Been out of the hobby for about 5 years or so. Just setup a 90g tank with 40g sump back in April. Been battling bryopsis and hair algae for about a month and think I'm finally winning. Best I can figure, phosphate was leeching out of my sand and rocks. Not much in the tank. Trying to get rid of the algae before I go any farther. Anyway just wanted to say hi.

Thanks! I think I'm winning the battle with the bryopsis. It looked like a jungle just a couple of weeks ago. Now it's sporadic. I suction out what I can about every three days, have my light on for about 4-5 hours a day, and have nitrates and phosphate low by dosing vinegar. Setting up a Gfo reactor today as well. Hopefully I can have it all gone shortly. May have to try the Kent tech m before its all said and done.
