I need help finding a house in El Paso! Looking in northeast or far east. We move in 35 days and $1000 a month is our absolute max for rent. Please, help a fellow reefer out! If anyone knows of any, please post here or text me 352-857-6416

pm me your email, and ill send you a list of what pops up for realtors on my end, also the rentalnetworkep.com has a few. Buying would be cheaper

My mortgage on a 1700 sq/ft house is over $50 cheaper than what I paid for a 2 bed/2 bath apartment here in EP. Pedro isn't lying about expensive renting! Good luck in your search.

Completely understandable. Maybe you should look into on-post housing? They're building a lot of new homes out on East Bliss where most of the units are now anyway. Just a thought.

I live in the Northeast, the only area you want to stay out of is Devils Triangle...so you want to stay north of Hondo Pass and the west side of Dyer...those are the nicer areas of the Northeast. Just my opinion for the NE.

I love the northeast, but yeah lorenzo is right, the east is cool but getting pretty crowded, either way there are new and easy ways to get on base from either side.

Boy dont I hate the traffic on the East and West side....I stay away from it at all cost....I live in the Hampton Roads area for nearly 3 yrs...tourist town...man do I hate traffic...I live 2 hours out of LA.... terrible traffic there also...no more for me....at least not now. Pedro is right pretty easy from any side of town

I'm a little biased as I've lived on the west for the last 3 years and couldn't imagine myself on any other side of town. I commute to Ft. Bliss daily, and while it takes me a few extra minutes to get to and from work, to me it's beyond worth it to live where I do.

ive lived on the west side or uppervalley for 30 years now. and central a little bit. i like it over here fo sho

What is the difference between a swamp cooler and refrigerated air? I found a house that I absolutely love but it has a swamp cooler.

Refrigerated air is your standard Air Conditioner that you're most likely used to. A swamp cooler cools the air through the evaporation of water.

Swamp coolers are generally only found in dryer climates as they don't work well when it's humid. I have one on my house and it can get quite miserable in the heat of summer here in El Paso with it on full blast 24/7.

I have a swamp cooler in my house and it does just fine. I only run it at night and sometimes i turn it on about 5 pm and run it all night and my house stays cool during the day too. You should be fine if you get that house. My houe is like 1700 sq ft 3 big bedrooms 2 full baths,
