Hello to all
My names Robert and use to hangout here along time ago when I was getting into saltwater tanks. As I'm sure everyone knows life happens and had to get rid of the few tanks we had. My wife and myself had purchased a house at the first of the year and have been talking about getting back another tank. So this weekend we went to our lfs and found the Aquatop recife series tank setup and decided to purchase the 48 gallon tank with a 14sump setup. I'm sure all of the parts are not very good like the light or skimmer that came with it. Just figured to jump back into it,it was the best bang for the buck. This time around we want to do a mixed reef, starting with some soft corals and slowly working into the beautiful sps corals.
Wondering if anyone has any input on this tank kit and what equipment recommended to change to run what we're looking to do eventually with the tank. We will be taking our time and researching everything possible before we start cycling water in the tank.
Glad I can be back in the hobby again and hope to learn as much as I can because this time we are here to stay!
