Not sure if my RBTA split

I woke up and found my RBTA in a different shape than it has been. It went from a big circle "O" to two smaller "0". They are still touching and look like they have distinct centers, but I'm not quite sure if it is a split because I've read that when a BTA splits, it usually retracts and takes a while to heal. The tentacles are all fully bubbled on both so maybe it's not a split. Anyone ever see a RBTA split and not have to recover?

It sounds like it may have split or that it is preparing to. Sometimes they fold a little bit to where it looks like there are two anemones. I have seen them do this when they are about to split.

Sounds like it is about to split or is in the process of splitting. Mine only took a few days to recover before both were doing great. Good luck

Pic would help. Just watch it. When mine split it only took about 1/2 day to complete. You will be able to see 2 distinct mouths and if you can be around during the split, you will see tissue pulling apart from one to the other. It will take a few days to heal and doubtful if it will take food during the healing.

just confirmed that it split. the bigger one moved further away and i can definitely see the separation and different mouths. very excited.:rollface:
