Not sure what these are?

I have quite a few of these in my tank, and some that are rather large inside a holey rock. I'm not thinking they are majano or any other pest that I could think of. I think they may be ball anemones?

They have a central oral disk with long clear tentacles with small well pronounced white balls on the tips.

Pictures aren't the best because of the location and they only come out at night. They do seem to be spreading rather quickly though, and would like a positive ID on them before I proceed with either leaving them be, or eradicating them.

Any help with a positive ID would be greatly appreciated.

Hard to tell from those pics, but could very well be ball anemones, which are not actually anemones and are harmless

I know the pics are terrible, but it's the best I could get under the circumstances. It's the reason I gave such a detailed description.

Thanks for the reply BTW.

I have these in my tank. I only have a 29 gal but there are literally hundreds of these things. Everyone told me to not worry about them, as they are telling you too. I did nothing about it and they have spread like crazy. If you only have are few, I would try to get rid of them. I had too many to begin with so fighting them would have been alot of work. They don't like light so they are mainly on the sides of my rock and in any cave or crevice. They aren't very noticeable during the day and as the others have said they don't really bug any coral/livestock in my tank. Check your tank with a flash light after a few hours of lights out to see if you have more than you know of.

So it sounds like they are as big a pest as Aiptasia/Majanos. They are much better looking though. So what have you used to get rid of them? Have you tried Aiptasaia X or similar?

I tried some peppermint shrimp to see if they'd go for em but weren't interested. I tried aptaisia X on them but didn't have good results. I didn't put alot of effort into using the aptaisia x tho because there were too many to try to kill manually so it might work. I was hoping I could find a natural predator to wipe em out.
