Not the right man for the job....

Ok, so I will not be taking care APSU's tanks. Kind of a bummer, but I'm sure that most of you realized upon meeting me this past weekend that I was definately not the right man for this job.....But this is only a minor setback.....Assuming that Pet Palace does indeed undertake this project, and as I undrstand it they are the only place that the university has contacted about the job, I still plan on helping West with this project as much as possible, even if only as a tag-a-long.

So, where does this leave me? With a nice 30 gal. tank full of African cichlids that is just begging to be converted into my first reef tank :D (cichlids no longer included of course;) ).

The plan right now is to go to club meetings, read, and save money. I look forward to starting to cycle my new set-up in July. Exactly what all the set-up will include will be up to me, my wallet and all of the support, experience and input that I get from all of you. With patience not being my strongest virtue, but will be required in this new hobby, I can hardly wait to begin this process. Until then I can't wait to start learning all that I can from all of you guys and your experiences. - BH

Sorry about the project, but I 'm sure that by the end of the summer APSU will be asking your opinions about the tank. Great to have you interested in setting up your own tank and joining a club before you make some of the same mistakes most newbies do is a really smart move.

You made a great pic with NTRC ! Mike & I love this group, and T&T are correct when they tell you that you made a smart move by joining the group first. Now, I'm not the newest, neebie!!
