MARS is proud to announce that we have partnered up with SeaQuest Folsom. The club has decided to donate Fish to help them get up and running. We are calling on the Local Community to donate corals to the Aquarium in a effort to get them up to speed and help the reefs by limiting what they need to finish setting up.
Every one that donates will be given raffle tickets and entered into a drawing to recieve family passes to the aquarium (Multiple Winners will be drawn for family passes, exact number to be determined on corals value). The club will also be purchasing raffle items, that will go to individuals that donate corals, prizes will be posted soon (Do not need to be present to claim raffle items).
SPS, LPS, Zoas bring them all!!! This will be in place of our usual end of the year frag swap. We are not looking for the highest value, just something to provided color and movement to the Aquarium. Seaquest has a quarantine set up to house the corals that we bring, please no sensitive corals as the tanks will only be about a month cycled. We might be able to get a sneak peek of the aquarium depending on the number of attendees.
The one who brings the most corals/Biggest pieces will recieve a Family Membership!!
Novemeber 8th from 4 to 7pm we will be on site ready to recieve corals, this will be a drop off type meeting, receive raffle tickets and have a look around. So feel free to stop by at any time to drop off your coral donations.
