thanks for the great support today on the phone my fixture will be here wednesday i cant wait! thanks so much for your help i give PA 5 stars in customer service to anyone reading this. just one more question for you.does my 24 inch come with moon lights build in?if so are they blue or white? and there is a gap under the fixture of about 2 inches is that along the back or front of the fixture id like to mound my powerbrite actinic strip there somehow

also if you know does this t5 fixture have alot better light output for color growth than the current fixture im running which is the coalife powerquad 20inch. they are both 96 watt i was jsut wonderin if i would get better color growth with the t5 as apposed to teh pc im currently running

Hi,

This fixture is not without the moonlights, as it is the most updated fixture they are using.

You could run your strips in either the front or the back. Determine that by where you will get the most direct light from the strip onto your rock structure. Your aquascaping will determine this.

As far as light output goes, you will definitely get quite a bit more than the Coralife fixture you had mentioned.

well i mean if i look at the picture of the underside of the fixture i see a gap thats about 2 inches thats black probably where all of the internal wiring and circuitry is . was just wondering if this was in the front or back of the fixture.thanks again

That is in the back of the fixture. You should be able to utilize that space just fine.

the customer service was great and i got my fixture today.very fast shipping!theres a few problems though. you told me there is a moon light and there are none and there are no cooling fans either . i have a problem with the ATI blue plus bulb as well, the endcap came right off so the bulb is broken. my order number is Order #: 191584
