November & December

I know it is a ways off, but people get busy and I like to get things planned ahead of time instead of waiting last minute. November and December can be pretty busy for most of us due to the holidays, so I need input early on.

First off, we need to decide if everyone wants to have a December meeting or not.

Second, do you want to celebrate the holidays at a meeting by playing dirty Santa? I am open for ideas if anyone is willing to give input.

We will have a couple things going on in November. Some of us will be assisting Logan with a new tank setup at the beginning of the month.

John Foxx expressed interest at our first meeting on hosting the November meeting, so I'll get the details for you soon. He said he will provide food and a more quite place to talk. We won't know how to act with actual quiet. I have been to John's house and he has a very nice reef tank. I believe it is a 100 gallon reef ready setup.

Let me know if you have any ideas for December or if you want to host the meeting. You do not have to furnish food if that is holding anyone back.

Having a meeting in both months is good, dirty Santa is great 20 sounds reasonable

Unless you all want to meet at a restaurant in Jackson, we may skip having a meeting in December. I will try to get locations lined up for next year. January will probably be the Middle TN Frag swap, but they haven't nailed down a date yet. I'll post it as soon as they notify me.

I figured a restaurant would of been the best bet anyway considering it is a christmas party. Might be a little tough finding one on a saturday in december though unless you start looking/booking now.

Thank you, Dave. Sometimes getting input is like pulling teeth. Now we just need to know what restaurant would be a good location for our December meeting. What do you guys think about Saturday December 11th?

Yeah that works, should be early enough not to interfere with anyone and holidays. Personally I think any type of full menu should be fine. buffet even, as long as there will be enough room. I guess maybe at the meeting this weekend find out how many are interested and get a ballpark idea how big a place/room

You can try Barnhill's, they used to have a closed off room that they used for parties and meetings. :celeb3:
