November Meeting: Donor Corals

At the November meeting on 11/11/06, we were in a rush at the end of the meeting to get the donor corals out. We didn't have time to note who got what, but there were quite a few things that were given out. I requested that if you got something to give me a PM. I haven't received any yet. If you received something please make note on this thread and I'll update the Donor Threads appropriately. Nikki (nlknight), I know you got something. Gerald (herpchat), I know you got something, too. A Green Striped Mushroom, right? Scott (bigScott), what did you say about the Zoanthids that you got?

Nah, I'm good. Tell my work to quit keeping me busy so I can focus on COMAS :lmao: Things will be a lot easier once/if we can get things transferred over to the COMAS site. We'll see.

Travis, how about you get a spiral notebook and place somewhere at meetings, that anyone recieving a frag can sign and write in what frag they recieved or donated.

I do have a notebook that I keep with me for updates. I'm in the process of setting up something a little nicer. At this meeting we had about 5 minutes to go through the list, hand out 10+ frags, and attempt to make notes of who got what. I probably spent 10 minutes though. Thanks Paul W. for letting me at least get things sorted out instead of just handing them to random people.

If it helps Travis, we brought the snails and a couple of watermelon mushrooms but I don't remember who got what either.

I don't remember who got the snails because we were pretty much walking out the door. It was the last item. I think Gerald got one of the shrooms, but I'll let him confirm that.

I talking like a notebook at the door. You could make a makeshift DIY podeum of pvc and as people enter, if they brought donors, they write them in and sign. Then after the meeting, if you recieved a frag write it in and sign. Open notebook, one side donated and one side recieved. Just as a backup to what you use when you are trying to distribute everything to whoever is next on the donor lists.
