Now I'm worried

I've just been reading about C. racemosa. It seems that is can take over your display tank. My Foxface eats little pices of it if it's floating around, but is the dangerous? Will it take over?

Thanks for the help. Sorry for the double post.

It's not dangerous if you don't let it get out of control. If you're worried about it, start picking it off rocks now rather than later. Do you have it in your display or do chunks float in from your refugium?

I don't have it in my display -- and I don't want it in my display. It is a good source of nitrate reduction and it grows like wildfire.

Small pieces float in from the fuge. I'm thinking of putting a screen between the fuge and the return section of my sump. This may keep it out of the display.

Any thoughts?

I think you'd be better off to filter/screen the intake of your return pump so there's no chance of the fuge overflow getting blocked.
