nox ich reef safe??

is nox ich reef safe it is 50% sodium chloride and 50% malachite green
i need to treat for ich and red flatworms what is the best way to do this
i did some reading on the internet i dont trust all the stuff i read some said it was reef safe some said no.

Nox Ich is an old-fashioned freshwater Ich medication, been around since at least the 1960's. Obviously, the sodium chloride ingredient is of no concern, but the malachite green is pretty toxic. I never considered using it in a reef tank. I have used malachite green + formalin in fish-only marine tanks. I wasn't happy with the results, and now use chelated copper or chloroquine.
