I have been using tropic Marin salt for so long that I really don't want to change salts as to upset my system but was wondering if the np pro and pro bio s could be added to my system to control nitrates and phosphates? Also would you recommend anything else to a nitrate phosphate removal situation with your products?...also how does your system of probio removal differ from Red Sea say carbon dosing method as to which is tried true and tested? Thanks for your help!

Yes - you can use Pro Bio S and -NP Pro (carbon source) to reduce nitrate and phosphate.
to adsorb phosphate (and silicate also) we have Phopsphate Minus.

If you are happy with your salt, likely it does not really matter, the Probiotic Salt from AF is just formulated to compliment their Probiotic based system. The AF Reef Salt and the AF Probiotic Reef Salt mix close to NSW values, and the difference between the two really being bacteria and amino addition to the Probiotic version. Many users want to run the Probiotic program and use AF Reef Salt, this works too. The system to me is quite gentle, I have run nearly every C-source program, this one is quite easy, and the results for me have been amazing! Cheers :)

Thanks guys for the responses...I will look into the system...I am running a tropic Marin system rn wit the Red Sea nopox but I plan on starting a bigger tank this month so I'm going to give the pro bio salt a shot...Do you recommend=mend the pro Bio salt with the pro bio s, np pro and phosphate minus all running together?

Yes you can run all together, its helps if you provide a media for the bacteria in the sump, Siporax works well, some folks use Marine Pure

once the probiotics are established and nutrients are at UNLS you can stop Phosphate Minus in my experience

of course you need to feed the corals in a ULNS
