Nsw

All The LFS that use NSW get it from inlet during high tide.

How much do you want to spend to get this water? Sure, NSW from open ocean is cleanest; IMO, Cheaper and better to make your own vs. expense/time needed to get it 5 miles off shore.

hi guys im new to the forum. what is NSW? i assume it means collecting tank inhabitants from the ocean. I have my fishing licence wondering were to go from there. any recommended methods of collection?

wow what a cool idea. Id fear parameters might shift daily though(maybe even time of collection) i wonder if anyone has ever plumbed NSW into the tank instead of Water changes!

I would make sure that the water parameters are what I like before putting into my tank. I would also probably run it through UV too.

I've been running marine wet labs for years with running NSW. Nothing like just turning on the tap and letting the seawater run :D

As for parameters, collect nice clean ocean water on the incoming tide and it will be more stable than the man made stuff from batch to batch ;)
