nudibrank !

Hello! This is my first ever post and I want to thank the people of this website for being so great!

I had a 5.5 gallon tank on my desk at home for 5 years, 2 weeks ago I left for 10 days and my friend who knows about saltwater tanks turned my ac off and cooked everything. All gone!!!!!!!!:(

I have killed things before and know that sometimes things come back.

Yesterday I found a sea slug, about a cm long it is tan and each extension off the back ends with a light tip. This is the first time I have seen this critter. I had a problem with planaria which my friend solved for me, but they all seem to be dead. Does anyone know how to care for them? I want to add it to my still living tank at work but I am afraid it will die. I hear they are very specific in what they eat.

Any info would be wonderful!

I am by no means very experienced in this form of art but the few things I have are happy.

[welcome]

Unfortunately, without seeing the nudibranch in question it's almost impossible to tell you how to care for it. As you've heard, most have very specific diets. Your description sounds like an aeolid of some sort though, so adding it to the healthy tank may not be a great idea. All of them feed on cnidarians, with many coral predators in the mix.

Thank you! after looking on line you are right. Too bad I can't add it to my tank though, it's neat!
