If you had to pick between the two which one would you buy? Which one is better for finicky fish? Which one is more nutritional? My fish go nuts for the cyclopeeze bar, never tried the ova but im curious.

Yes. It's actually a fair bit bigger. The Ova is roughly about 1800 microns where Cyclop-eeze ranges from 700 to 800 microns.

All my fish prefer Ova over Cyclop-eeze.

I agree, however my Anthias still love Cyclop-eeze but the combination of various frozen foods keeps coloration high.

for a mandarin which one is better, mine is quite picky and still takes frozen brine reluctantly... im deciding whether or not to buy cyclopeeze or ova..

I would feed both, and do; personally. I primarily use it for feeding my smaller nps, like terrazoas and gorg but the fish go nuts over both, when I do. If you're not soaking the shrimp in Selcon or some vitamin with garlic, you may want to try that to see if that entices your Mandarin to eat better. I soak any food I feed in one of five supplements, varying every night. The garlic makes my fish feed readily, even new additions, and the vitamins help keep them healthy

Ova is preferred. It's my first food with any new fish. My only concern is if it's too fatty. I've cut back on it a bit.:bounce1:

my mandarin hates garlic for some reason as well my other fish... they avoid the food that is soaked and act as if it isnt there...
