Nutrient reduction methods

We all know that NPS tanks require heavy feeding (to say the least), but what methods are you using, in addition to water changes of course, to reduce nutrients in the system?

Right now I'm looking at getting a much larger skimmer, but I'm also considering carbon dosing and/or adding some zeolite stones or maybe even bio pellets (although I'm not sold on these yet due to how many mixed reviews there are).

If you are using other methods (besides large water changes, for the sake of this discussion), please list your tank size and details of the method you're using.

Thanks.

I'm wondering about using zeovit.. Really just the stones and the Zeobak. I've done quite a lot of research in the past on zeovit.

I wouldn't be going for an ULNS, but rather using the zeo stones for nitrate and phosphate reduction.

I have a GFO reactor and a lot of macro algae. Phosphate stays at 0 and nitrate drops to 0 if I stop dosing potassium nitrate (I dose it for the macros). I only do water changes every couple weeks to replenish trace elements.
