I actually used about a third of what they sent. So maybe 7 pounds or so? i think I used a total of 6 pieces. Thank you!

not sure what size return pump you have, but with such a large opening on the spin stream. i upgraded to a siccee 1.0 and with the spin stream there was lots of good flow throughout the aquarium.

I just upgraded to a 330gph pump and it works great with the spin stream! Gives flow everywhere.
