I resently purchased a small Pink Bubble tip anemone. Since it was really small (1,5"), I kept it in a small plastic mesh bucket closed to the surface with good flow and light, to be able to do daily target feeding until large/strong enough, before I set it free in my 300 gallon tank. I didn't want to risk it walking away where I could not target feed it. I keept it like this in 4weeks and it slowly grow a bit but sometimes also deflated so I hesitated to let it loose.
I was really surpriced when the anemone splitted yesterday and I now have two very small pink bubble tips in the little bucket.
Now, Is the splitting a sign for distresss or is it a sign for "happiness" ?
