Updates: I got my Artfully Acrylic screen top in today and I have to say that I'm a bit unimpressed. There where multiple areas where there were rough or jagged polycarbonate along the edges and one area where it appears there was a crack

It still looks like it is made very well,
But I do not feel the product I received warrants the $140 + shipping I paid for it.

In other news I also received my replacement gorgonian order from Gulf Coast Ecosystems (www.live-plants.com) and I have to say they look amazing on arrival. The only worry I have at present is that they are too large for my aquarium. Here are some picture of them freshly in the aquarium and tentative placement (any advice?).

Most are photosynthetic but still require feeding right?? To my knowledge they only eat zooplankton and phytoplankton?

I'm not an expert, but from a quick google, most available in the hobby are photosynthetic. I originally thought they were not mostly photosynthetic. I'm surprised we don't see more of them.

They are all photosynthetic (to varying degrees) but I do feed fairly heavy for the size of aquarium
Additives/Food:
B-ionic 2 part CA and ALK (via dosing pump, titrated weekly)

Red Sea NOPOX (3-4 ml/day via dosing pump, titrated weekly)

Brightwell Aquatics (BWA) Coral Amino, 1 drop every odd day

BWA Microbacter-7, 5-10ml weekly

Korallen-zucht (Kz) Sponge Power, 2 drops every even day

Aqua forest (Af) Coral Food, 2 scoops weekly the night before a water change

Af Phyto mix, 10 drops every other day

Fish food mixture, combined/thawed in a shot glass with tank water, stored in refrigerator for up to a week (5-10ml daily):
1 cube of PE mysis shrimp
1 cube of Hakari brine shrimp
1 dime sized piece of Larry's Reef Frenzy

And thanks for the kind words, hopefully they all survive and do well.... as for growth rates, I'm not too sure ....

This is my current coral stocking list:

Purple Sea whip (2), Pterogorgia anceps

Green Slimmer, Acropora yongei

Neon orange Montiopora setosa

Neon green clove polyps, Clavularia sp

Birds nest coral, Seriatopora hystrix

Tan Candelabra gorgonian, Eunicea sp

Purple plume gorgonian, Pseudopterogorgia bipinnata

What is the clear jelly like thing towards the lower left?

You took a shot of it in one of your photos. Also, how many snails and what types do you have in the aquarium?

Wel I have to say that I am fairly ****ed with NYAquatic, the Fu Manchu lion they sent me is closer to 4.5" instead of the three that they quoted me, appears to have a chewed off tail, and likely has a swim bladder infection.... I'm debating if I should even place it in my aquarium (I do t have room for a full QT tank in my apt.) right now it is sitting in a 3 gal buck acclimating with prazipro, an air stone, and a heater....[emoji35]

Anyone in the NYC area with a QT tank mind treating this fish? I would be happy to compensate
