O.K to use leftover saltwater?

I've got a 32 gallon brute can that I'm using as a salt mixing container in my basement. Come time to do a water change I have a pump that shoots the water directly to my sump once I'm finished siphoning. I only plan on doing 20-25 gallon changes and that will leave some water still in the bottom of the can. Even if I wanted to use the whole 32 gallons my pump can't get the very bottom. I plan on re-filling right after the WC and mixing the salt for the following weeks WC.

Will it hurt anything to use the leftover saltwater from the previous mix?

My thinking is that for example, there's 10 gallons left. The next week that 10 gallons will be a week old then the following week the 10 gallons that is left will presumably have some of the first 10 gallons and will be somewhat 2 weeks old...so on and so on. Am I thinking too much into it?:headwally:

oh yeah you just mix that right back in to the next batch. after water changes i usually have anywhere from 10 - 25 gallons left in my 55g Brute's. it just sits a week or two until my next change, gets mixed back in with fresh salt and RODI.

-edit- if it sits much longer than that, you might want to double check the alk numbers, sometimes those can fall over time, and always make sure to aerate it before the change (i.e. let it spin with the mixing pump on for a little while after it's been sitting)
