Does anyone use Ocean Nutrition's frozen spirulina cubes? They seem to be for sale everywhere and yet i can't find anything about them here on RC. Main ingredients listed: Spirulina, Brine Shrimp, Squid, Krill, Mussel, Gel Binder, Plankton, Krill Meat, Krill Hydrolysate, Lecithin, Fish Oil, Casein, Astaxanthin. Vitamins: potassium ascorbate, beta-carotene, biotin, hydroxocobalamin (source of vitamin B12), niacin, riboflavin, thiamin HCL. Amino acids: methionine (dl-methionine), L-Lysine, taurine. Trace elements: calcium chloride, potassium iodide, ferrous sulfate, manganese sulfate, magnesium carbonate, and zinc sulfate.
Also: GUARANTEED ANALYSIS: Crude Protein (min) 11.2%, Crude Fat (min) 1.6%, Crude Fiber (max) 4.3%, Moisture (max) 81.0% (Protein as a percentage of dry matter - 55%)
My fish seem to like them and eat them very quickly, and sounds a bit like health food. Is it the phosphate worries that keep this food from being popular here on RC?
