I gave it a try last year. Had a modded blade cx2 and purchased Real Flight G5 to practice. It was much more difficult than I anticipated. Needless to say I gave up and sold everything after a couple weeks.

My RC stays on the ground, but its a fun hobby! I had a heli that crashed hard and haven't had the guts to try again

Ive got a trex 450 to take out and beat on and a 600 that I have to baby because the parts cost more than I care to pay. Its def an awesome hobby but takes a great deal of time and money before you see any results. I'll try to snap some pictures next time I pull them out. If you are serious about getting into it invest in a quality flight simulator. I use phoenix.

I've got a couple Eflite Blade CX3 Heli's. Crashed the first one pretty bad so got a second and use the first one for parts. I haven't flew them in a long time. Never really had time to learn to fly/trim them properly. Very cool hobby, IMO.

I have actually been thinking about picking one up. I see them used pretty cheap on some of the hobby forums sometimes

Its too cold and windy to fly but when i get a chance i fly rebel70 sport jet,p-51mustang and i lil champ plane. My new purchase is a rogue 500 heli that i havent tried to fly yet.

Yeah, bought it off of a guy who needed cash. Might turn around and sell it as flying heli seems a bit more challenging then planes and jets. And my rebel jet is a handful at 70mph and only feet from ground.

Flying helis is tough I wouldnt recommend starting with a collective pitch I have been flying off and on for a few years and still have a tough time with them and man do they cost alott to repair
