O/T guinea pigs

I just bought a baby (2 1/2 wks old) yesterday for my youngest boy.

Unfortunately, we seem to kill guinea pigs here. My girls went through 3 when I finally said 'enough'.

How long did they live for and what was the cage parameters? Did you let them slowly adjust to their new home or just dropped them in the cage? What brand of cedar chips did you use? Just kidding.

They make the best little pets ,they just multiply to often.My doughter had one ,but he was craby,so we ended up getting him a mate.He's like a different animal once he got hooked up.Its amazing how he changed for the better when he got himself some lovin'.
