O/T: Looking for a puppy

Well like the topic says i'm looking for a puppy for my girlfriend..... She wants something smaller but i would much rather have a large dog! Anyone know of anything available?

I'd recommend an American Eskimo/Spitz. not the miniature ones though... the full size. They have all of the benefits of a large and small dog put into a medium frame. Theyre great family dogs.
 
how about an English bulldog, i got the hook up. We are getting a pup this weekend. The breeder has been holding one for us, until its old enough. Pugs are also very cool smaller dogs
 
get a mtut. they are so appreciative of everything. i have 2 dogs 1 blonde siberian husky (Sadie) and 1 cocker lab mix (Mutly). Mutly is my buddy and just the ideal dog. great temperament great personality just a really cool dog.
 
Well if you want a dog that has the personality of a big dog but in a smaller body I have to recommend a Boston Terrier. Our 17 lb Boston will play and drop our 65 lb Husky/lab mix. Great dogs and very easily trainable. Bostons are almost like a mini boxer, VERY VERY kewl dog.

I wish I could get a english bulldog, anywhere I find the pure breads are 3-5 thousand. I would recommend a pug myself. Basset hounds are great too. They may seem lazy but they tend to be hyper. If you want an active dog though, Jack Russell Terrier is the way!

There is a breeder in the Southern Tier. He breeds pure bred pugs and english bulldogs. His dogs are top notch and best price I ever found. I know he should have a litter of pug puppies now. I got the last English bulldog pup, they only had two puppies in the litter. But he said they should have more bulldog pups later this summer.

We got a black pug last year... I think they're the best! There is also a pug club in wny so your pug can meet other pugs, haha.
 
Yeah i like boston terriers too. the few i have seen seemed pretty mean though! Isn't that what cully has? I thought he was gonna jump through his plate glass door and tear my throat out
 
There is NO way she could say no to an Akita puppy! I've had three and they are the most loving, sweet, intelligent dogs I've ever owned. By the time she realizes they are a large dog it'll be too late, hehe.

Guess I'm bias but I miss my Akitas. :)
 
I've always wanted a smooth fox terrier. We have a Shih-Tzu, he's a great lap dog (doesn't shed!) but i prefer more playful dogs.
 
My Boston terrier will lick you to death. He never bite the kids either and they are rough with him.
