I was looking at some weird old ads that used to be in the back of comic books.. Someone photographed them and put them up on line.

Check this one out- Seahorses and Spidermonkies sent to you by mail.. So weird!!!

brine shrimp come a dime a dozen everywhere, but $13.95 for a monkey?!!!!

Put me down for a monkey also. :D

I would go in on the monkey order, but i'm saving up my money for a trunk monkey. These don't look big enough to be effective as a trunk monkey.

That is too funny Marcye.
I didn't even notice him the five times I read it.
Thanks for a good long laugh.

Nice hat there Seth.
Is that your Dad pictured underneath you??
Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
Marcye started it. :p

They are hysterical.. especially the Arnold Schwarz.. the governator wearing Mr T style bracelets. "Are you man enough to wear them?" hahaha

I'm guessing 60s\70s era.. I have read some comics from the 80s and they are slightly less cheesy in the ad department

Look at the Mr. Money ad, that will give you a clue on the date. Get this, people were " too skinny" then? "gain as much weight as you like" "Guaranteed safe for man, woman, teenager".. teehee...are teenagers some other sex alltogether? Is this why America is having health & weight issues today? Our darn mothers were eating fat pills?:lmao:

When we went to Key West, there was a woman with a pet spider monkey. I asked her where she got it, and she told me the place, but since Im a goof, I dont remember.
