REEF NERD
Well my tank started leaking a few weeks ago. But the salt creep has stoped it. im beting the tank is over 10years old i got it used. It was beat up when i got it. i had fresh water fish in it .then went to friebelly toads.And now its been the reef tank for the last 2 or so years.So tonight i get to start a new tank more or less.Im getting a 26 bow. because my old light fits on it. so that was cool.Im putting in all new rock.Im going to keep alot of my sand just becaue its so alive .The sand has never been cleaned in the 2 years it been up.My sand is allmost orange with all the terebellid worms liveing in it.Im going to keep half if not more of my water . and im not going to tounch the sump/fuge.that has live rock and sand and tons of other critters in it..All the new rock has a ton of holes that i drilled in it so i can just put acros on plugs and drop them in and move them around if i have to..All of my acros are going to be cut down to frags and im going to start growing them all over.The real only thing that is going to change is the live rock. so i hope it dont lose anything.Do you all think i will lose anything ?I hope not .I am going to be a coral snob this time around and only put real cool things in.so I have alreday told my self if i do losr things i just start over with all high end corals ..So wish me luck. ill post some pics after its all said and done..Oh joy
