Observation

I always wondered how the Randall's pistol shrimp that has paired with one of my Yasha gobies got food. Well, today I observed the yasha goby eat some brine, and then spit some out in the direction of the pistol shrimp. Is this typical behavior? Anybody else see the same thing?

I saw my highfin goby do this a few times, it had a mate in the hole also - i wasn't sure who the snack was for - They've moved the the back of the tank & I never see'em any more

LOL my orange-spot goby must not know he's supposed to take care of his buddy -- he actually steals food from the pistol! I spot feed the shrimp and usually have to add three or four pellets at once just to make sure he gets one. Needless to say, my goby is well fed
