Ocean Motion Only For Closed Loop?

I am planning to use an OM4 on a 60 gallon cube. The tank is not drilled for a closed loop. I hoped to accomplish flow for the tank (and eliminate the need for powerheads) by hooking two feeds of the OM to the existing returns and plumbing two more into the tank.

Has anyone had any success using an OM outside of a closed loop?

I don't see why it would'nt work. I would just make sure and use a check valve on your return pump if you plan on putting some of the nozzles deeper in the tank so you don't flood your sump when the pump is shut off.
