Oceanic Illuminata (Rimless Tank) Lighting?

Can anyone give me suggestions on what to buy for my Illuminata?

There are so many options.

I dont mind putting the light directly on top, as much as I know it would take away from the rimless look. Though, I am really against drilling holes in my ceiling to hang a light from also.

I like the TEK lights. Should I go with a 36" 4 x39 w fixture or 6 x 39w. I only plan to keep LPS...love acans and hammer corals, etc...

Also...could I use one of these to hang a TEK light?

I just set up my illuminata. I wanted to keep the rimless look so I went with the aquatic life fixture which I am hanging a 36" 6x39w Ati sun power. It works great and is clean. The fixture was pretty easy to install. It screws on to the back of the stand and is adjustable. I hope this helps.

Ok this may be a dumb question but your ATI fixture hanging kit worked perfectly with the aquatic life hanging fixture? I was worried that it wouldnt. Do you have a picture of your tank? :) I am thinking of doing the aquatic life fixture with a TEK light

Hmm, ATI is the "top of the top" when it comes to t5 lights....would TEK's 6x39 be overkill as well?

Also, did you hang your unit from the celing, back of the tank, or simply mount it on top?

I hung mine from some hangers I made.
