oceanic Illuminata rimless

I went to Oceanic's website, and I don't think they have updated that website in years. I couldn't even find the Illuminata listed anywhere. I have seen the 57g version, but do they have any other dimensions? Great idea to build something 24"-30" wide IMO.

Contrary to popular belief, they do make a non reef-ready version. I'm in the process of parting together a system that includes this aquarium. I installed the 700gph Glass Holes Overflow and IMO it's 10x better/smaller than the stock one. I'm on the fence about adding one or two loc-line returns on it, we'll see. Keep an eye out for a build thread soon!

PS- This is the only size they make; it is standard (not starphire) 3/8'' glass. HTH

Where are the holes for the drains and return drilled in the overflow box? Pics? Curious to see how slim you could make an overflow box if you ripped out the stock one.

Here's mine and just about ready to have it running soon:

I'll be using new rocks(Macro rocks + few pieces of new LR to seed the rest), 40 pounds of new LS and will be transferring all the contents of my RSM tank, except sand and LRs.

Thanks philosophish! It's a 840 v1.5. I got the sump from my LFS and the tank is rimless. It's a basic sump, which is the reason I got it, and no fuge for this one.

thanks guys..... the bulbl combo is ati bulbs 3 blue plus. 2 blue special 1 pro color.

flow is and has been for about 8 weeks my quiet one 6000 return with the hydors on the ends. i just added a koraila nano and my mp10 is on the way.
