Can I house a pair each of these clowns in a 120gal? I currently have the ocellaris pair and found a pair of percs I would love to add I just want to make sure they wont kill each other before I pick them up.

Thank you!

No one? I realize this is in a way answered under the FAQ. I understand it is a chance either way once they reach maturity and until then it should be fine. I am looking for anyones experience with these two types together. Also I know with a "large" tank multiple pairs of clowns or different species can be fine, is 120 large enough for this?

You would probably be ok adding percs after the occy's. Now if it was the other way around, you would have trouble for sure. Percs are pretty aggressive once they get established.

Thank you for the reply. I hope they wont really bother each other. There should be plenty of room for two pairs. I guess I will have to find out if they start fighting I have other options for one of the pairs I would just like to have both in my main.

percs and ocellaris are both aggressive. i have a pair of ocellaris in my 120g and the female rules every inch of the tank. i have endless video's of her aggression towards me and tankmates. the tankmates have learned the rules, but as soon as i open the canopy she circling the top of the water like a shark.

if you do it, just know there is a high risk of losing them.

My pair of ocellaris seem pretty mild they don't really boss anyone around. I think I am going to pass on the percs atleast for the time being. I'd ,much rather not have a fight to the death in my tank. I just want my ocellaris to go in my nem then I'll be happy.
