I have a pair of clowns that are about 6 years old. I have noticed a mess of little attached sacks, they are dark with a little white spot. They are the size of a pencil lead. They are attached to a branch of hammer coral. Are they ? What should i do ? There are no other fish in this tank.

Do you have any pictures? That makes IDing your unknown "mess of attached sacks" a little bit easier to ID.

Are the clowns guarding this "mess"? That's another dead giveaway..the smaller clown will be constantly tending it, if they are in fact eggs, unless he's a horrible father.

Geez Matt, been smokin' the cheap stuff again??? OF COURSE they are eggs :D

Buckeye, you don't have to do anything, it is just natures way. If you are interested in raisng some it will involve a good amount of effort and not inconsiderable expense. What species are they?

I don't know David, I was thinkin Hydroids, bubble algae, ya just never know until you actually KNOW, ya know?

NO GPC for me thanks...
