On Sunday I added a 6 line wrasse to my 28 bowfront. THe tank already contained a Bangaii and an Ocellaris. Monday night the Ocellaris was M.I.A In the room with the tank the door was open. You think the wrasse spooked the ocellaris to jump, and my jack russel got to it? Could it be hiding? I have fed since and done a water change, no sign. What do you think ?

The dog theory is entirely possible. There's also a chance you'll find the dried up fish months from now somewhere behind the tank.

We had an ocellaris disappear overnight from a 10g tank. That was before we had dogs, and I never found any sign of it, even when we moved. They can also hide in pretty small places in the rocks and just be where you can't find them.

I am hoping it is still in their somewhere.. I have yet to lose fish to poor water quality. Simply jumpers........I have fish not known to jump jump...Well its my luck. Thanks!

I saw my clarkii jump once when I first got him. the lid was only 2 inches wide so he managed to clear that, cleared the top of the tank by a good foot and a half and landed 4 feet away.
sorry, I just love to share that story, I hope he is still in your tank, I hate it when animals vanish.
