Ocellaris versus Percula clown??

I have decided to give breeding clown fish ago but am having an indecisive moment on whether to breed Ocellaris or Percula clown fish.
I have been trying to find some information on the net regarding behavioral pattens of both fish, with not a lot of luck.
All I found was 1 article that said Ocellaris are more out going and that Percula tend to be more quite.
I have a couple of Ocellaris at the moment in their own tank and they are always out and about. Are the Percula the same??
Also is there any differences in the breeding.
I don't have an Anemone at the moment, but will introduce one when I find a suitable one.

Thanks for any help:-)

Occelaris take about 6 months to grow to sellable size. Percula's take about a year.

Dazed is raising Perculas. you can read more about them in his thread. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1401023

I'd stick with Ocellaris just because of the growout time. Its really expensive to growout a fish for a year.

It has nothing to do with BBS, you can get them on Otohime pretty fast, they just take that long to grow. Feeding fish / water changes / electricity / time it all adds up. It really depends on what your market will pay for them and then you have to determine if it is worth it.

Dazed had some percs at something like 100 days with only 1 stripe. I can get 3 stripes on a occ. in like 3 weeks.

Experiences are different. In mine, percula grew much faster than ocellaris, they were large at 4 months, market size, only that they show two bars and little if any black at this time.Ocellaris need at least 6 months before the larger reach a decent size.
I also noted more agression in 6 mo old percula in grow-out.
