Carb,

I think I am going to use lr rubble from Premium Aquatics. They have golfball to softball size for 1.99 lb.. I don't think I will find any better. By the way where will the meeting be held?

I have had good luck with IPSF. Most of their stuff does really well and even reproduces in your tank. They are however VERY expensive. If i was to order from them id do the 9 for 99$

If i was you i would just try to get a little bit of sand from a local established tank ( AKA free live sand activator). Also getting a little bit of macro algae helps as there is typically lots of pods and worms within the algae. I have given away hundreds of the strombus snails to people in the area so i know they should be readily available. Adding rock rubble as suggested earlier is a great way to add diversity. Also adding a couple of really nice pieces of live rock will help get that dry rock going.

Paul, I had kinda noticed the "cursed" pattern of my upgrade thread locking up. Has happened 4 times now.

MHurley. I think i figured out why several threads in the CVRC forum where acting up on me. ALTPERSONA is in the area so he posts in this forum somewhat regularly! Its all becoming clear now. He is simply cursed and bringing the rest of us down with him
