October meeting

First, thanks to Chuck & Jenny for hosting the September meeting. Their tank looks great and it was good to catch up with everyone else again.

The October meeting will be on the 12th at 1pm at Creative Aquatics in Owensboro, KY. The address is 1118 E 4th St if anyone wants to meet there. Also, we can meet up at about 11:30 in Hopkinsville and carpool, we have a 7 passenger SUV and will gladly take anyone who wants to ride. Hopefully if we have a good turnout, someone else in the club has a minivan or SUV and we can just take 2-3 vehicles.

If you haven't been to the store, the owner Keith is great to deal with and is looking forward to it. He is going to a trade show in Chicago on the 4th & 5th and is expecting to come back with a large selection of ORA corals, fish, clams, and whatever else, but he is definately coming back with all that he can haul. So, by the meeting date everything should be acclimated fully and there should be plenty to see.

So, who's up for a road trip?

AH MAN!!!!!! I really wanted to head back up that way, but that's during our vacation!!!!!!

Creative Aquatics is really really cool, definetely worth the drive, if you've not been, do anything and everything within your control to get up there.

I am going to try and go, and if i do i have a 8 pass tahoe. if someone wants to go but not spend too much on gas, becuase as of right now with gas prices that would be the reason why i could not go

Well, that is Fall Break and I will be out of town...sorry. One of these days I hope I get to see you all again.

Plans have changed some want, we are taking a shorter vacation, so we might be there!

T&T thanks again for arranging everything, and a HUGE thanks to Creative Aquatics for an awesome meeting! Those of you who didn't make it missed out BIG TIME, awesome fish, corals, clams, food, and excellent prices!

We just got back in town, and both of my clams are doing GREAT... one of them actually walked about 6 inches from where I placed it!
