October Volunteers Unite!

I accept the job of "door greeter" and have a (card) table I can bring, and I can even bring cookies -- chocolate chip starfish cookies. If you chop up the starfish real fine you can't even taste the fishy ... just kiddin'. I am absolutely willing to work to support our Club cause. Organized clubs are falling by the wayside. People these days generally want to take and not give back when it comes to clubs and civic organizations, thus causing the demise of many organized gatherings. I'm still old school and totally support the cause of CVRC. Bring it on!

Hey Ron, and everybody, tell me what you think. I was thinking of monogramming our logo on a jacket. Just a small logo in front, on the upper left. I have no interest in making a profit from them, they cost around $17 plus shipping, so I am guessing they would cost me just under $20. If people are interested, we could choose what color jackets we should go with (black, blue or red) I have a black one I can do a sample on, OH, and we could give it away at the end for a door prize! (the only thing is that it is a childs size large I am pretty sure )
These jackets are baseball jackets, they are very nice, and they have the white piping on the cuffs and bottom cuff. For this reason I was thinking that white monogramming would look best. They snap instead of zip. No hood.
Let me know if you would like for me to do this.

If anyone brings peanut butter cookies it should be Lana. I loved the ones she would bring to the meetings when they were at Jomars. I like them more then any other peanut butter cookie i have had.

MMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Ok Nancy you have a go on the Jacket project. Contact me and we will refine your design further.

Joyski: Thank you for the help, every volunteer is greatly appreciated in the CVRC. We are more of a family or society rather than an organization. Some will argue that that has it's downside, but I say it has it's upside as well. We take care of our own, and our doors are always open. We don't have many rules, we just ask that newcomers use common sense and respect others, all are free to come and go as they please.

Anymore volunteers, step up :)
</b>
Thanks again,
Ron

Thanks joyski58,

Since I seem to have moved to club photographer (LOL) I haven't been having time to be the door greeter. But if you like, I can give you some pointers, I picked up using trial and error.

We still need more volunteers willing to discuss a topic or to present a demonstration of their choice related to the hobby.
