I have been chopping up octopus into tiny little pieces and I can attest that Serpent Stars, Conchs, and Peperment Shrimp all just love octopus chunks as chow

i see in your "current tanks:" you have bio-balls. you need to remove them A.S.A.P. they are nitrate making machines. they collect it then release it in larg amounts back into the system without warning at any given time.
i would go with rubble rock and/or sandbed of 4" - 8". you will get much better results for denitrification this way!

Thanks for the advice..I do intend on getting rid of them (bio balls) near future. I am going to purchase a buttload of live rubble and put it in the sump.
