I have heard of this coral before and I was wondering what'd it look like? Someone told me it looks like a frogspawn but with shorter sweepers and its more like a branching ball? Does anyone have one?

The only thing I can think of close to "octopus coral" would be a common name for a Plerogyra sp., which is "octobubble coral".

I know on the wholesalers list they call the green with purple tips Octospawn . I know it dose not have as many bulbs on it as a normal frogspawn

a wall frogspawn is called an octopus coral... its a non branching euphyllia and normally looks more tranparent and vibrant then the reg. frogspawn

Around here the octopus coral as it is called is very close to a frogspawn but the polyps are thinner and the nubs are closer. My wife has both in her LPS tank. Also the octopus seems to always have very long sweeper polyps out.
