Can you tell me the footprint of this skimmer, it's not listed on your site. Will this work on a heavily stocked 175g w 30 g fuge.

thanks

Hi,

the foot print is approx 17"x9". I think it could handle your size tank and setup pretty easily.

The foot print is to big :( I'm looking for a in sump skimmer that will fit in a 13.5in x 11in. space that will utilize less than 80 watts that will work on my system, also can't be over the $5-600 price range??? Any suggestions???

Hmm,

That is a tough one. You could probably sqeeze this one in, but it's a little over 13.5.

Or the Octopus 200 if they specs do not change, new models due out in about 1 week.

That's really about the only options I can think of and sticking with NW style skimmers.

You could alway go with an EV240 at

You need a Mag12 to run that skimmer though.

You could also look at the Bubble King Mini's, but they would go way over your budget.

Thanks, if i were to go with a AquaC it would be the 400, I was just trying to bring electricity use down a little, easier to sell the wife, "I'm saving money by buying this".
