just ordered a octo from octopets how would you recomend aclimating one? And how soon would you feed it.Also what would you feed it.

I would use a air line and drip aclimate it. I have just let octopuses crawl right in a tank from the bag before with no problem. It's allways good though to drip so PH can adjust as well as all the other specs. Some times new octopuses only eat life food when there young so I would try some live shrimp or crabs of the correct size until it will accept something like thawed frozen shrimp. Hermits work well, as do ghost or grass shrimp.

Thanks. Will small blue crabs work? I collected a bunch of them for my mantis.

I never had a crab a ceph wouldnt eat so i would guess it will be fine
