I purchased the large Octoupus sump from BRS a few weeks ago. Overall, I've been happy with the sump except for a few small things.
On the positive side, the seam quality is great and the price from BRS is outstanding (especially w/the free shipping).
On the down side, the acrylic used is rather thin (0.235") and the top is not reinforced. If you plan to use the sump at the designed depth of 8", then these items shouldn't cause you a problem. However, I had to increase my depth to 10" and the side walls started to bow. I had to reinforce them with angled aluminum.
Be careful w/the dimensions listed on BRS website. The width of my unit was 1.5" less than what was listed.
