Odd behavior?

So my Caramel Clown has been swimming just under the top of the water for the past few months since my other one died.... Any reason for this? Possibly its lonely, or its just hosted that spot? I want to get any anemone to see if it will host but I want to make sure there isn't something wrong first.

ive had clowns in the past that claimed the top back corners of the tank as its territory. they stayed right at the surface. once I added the anemone then left their "claim" and moved towards it but never entered. that was my first pair. my current pair of clowns wont go farther then a few inches out of my anemone

Did yours swim on their sides or anything? Mine looks like she's sick but she comes down sometimes and seems fine... Im not sure whats going on exactly.

yes they did swim on their sides when they were up next to the surface of the water.
