Odd bulkhead

Taking apart this overflow box that came with my new setup and saw some different plumbing pieces being used as a bulk head.

Are these just schedule 80 couplers?

They look to be PVC electrical connectors. The threads are not tapered so they will screw down tight to each other. I have used them in the past as bulkheads in 4" size because the 4" bulkheads are not cheap! Hope it help

Just need to figure out what they are as I need to replace the "female" side to add a silencer. The 1 inch PVC is glued in.

Or could I just add a Maggie muffler to the top of the 1 inch PVC

+1 PVC electrical conduit. Male and female adapter. Works ok as a bulkhead if you have a decent gasket, but has a much narrower flange, so it's more prone to leaking and less forgiving of chips or minor hole size variations.
