Odd Lighting issue with icecap prewires

Last night out of the blue my left side 36" prewire 4 light shut off. No warnings just shut off. Upon checking it out and powering it back on the first bulb would power and the second then shut down. Odd. normally this is due to a bad bulb, or moisture. The entire system is new as of the end of july. I left it alone and went to bed.

This morning now neither side lights up. They both do the initial powerup and then they shut down.

What are the odds that the bulbs are to blame? They both run on independent 660 ballasts on their own timer and outlet, breaker.

They ballast seems to fire up a separate light i had sitting around. I checked all the connections moved the bulbs around, and still nothing on either side. Its a prewire plug in and go.

Its been running every day since the end of july no problems..

wow, that is really strange. Let me see if I have this right. You run blue bulbs on two separate ballasts, and they both went out at about the same time? Seems too uniform to me to be something like that, but maybe if you've had a lot of power interruption recently or surges etc. it could've effected the blues before anything else? I'd try swapping bulbs (put your whites where your blues were and vice versa) and see if they still power up poorly. If they do, then your problem is definitely the bulbs for whatever reason.

Yeah they are two separate 36" prewire systems, on their own 660 ballst, on different outlets on different timers, on different breakers.

No power issues that i have witnesses, no outages. They run everyday since july.

I pulled the blues out and the left side lights up now. Working on moving to the right.

So 3 our of 4 geisman ati blues pop at the same time..

So its working now, but upon close inspection 1 ATI Blue bulb from each side developed a pin size hole next to the pins on the bulb.

No idea why what where or how, im hoping manufacturers defect. They are covering them and sending replacements.

Still very odd to me
